When You Forget Something on the Train
We will introduce the flow of what you should do when you forget your umbrella, smartphone, or luggage inside when getting off the train.
1. To retrieve the lost item in the train, it is advisable to remember the 3 important information written below:
If you notice you lost something right after getting off the train, report it immediately to a train officer.
・Appearance and characteristics of the lost item(color, material, etc.)
・Last boarded train (time and place of departure and arrival)
・Location where the lost item was placed (train care number, left or right side in reference to the travel direction)
2. A station staff member will contact the station where the train will arrive to ask for lost items.
3. Wait for a reply to come back. In this case, you can wait on the spot or you can give your phone number to the train officer for them to contact you.
4. You will be contacted by the station where you asked for help to confirm if they have found your lost item.
5. Your lost and found item will be dropped at the train station you asked for help earlier, so try to ride a train towards that station to pick it up.
