In order to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, the government will continue its declaration of State of Emergency until May 31st.
There are still many people in Japan who have been infected by the coronavirus. Thus, hospitals are currently facing challenges.
The government believes that if the experts say that it is already alright to lift the state of emergency declaration, metropolitan cities such as Tokyo and Osaka, will lift the declaration before the 31st.
