09.02.2019

Ho

rensou is basically a method on how you report to your superiors and colleagues in a Japanese business setting.

※Report: When to report something?

→ When there is something different from the usual

→ If something has failed

→ If you finished a work or task entrusted to you

→ If an accident or an unfortunate event happened

※Contact: When to contact?

→ If the train or bus arrival was delayed

→ If you cannot make it in time for work

→ If you cannot make it in time for your appointment with someone

→ In the event you overslept. Taking a day off due to oversleeping is not acceptable. People who do not value time will also lose the trust of their co-workers (People who cannot keep their promises will also lose their job)

※ Consult: When to consult?

→ If you have worries or things that you do not understand at work, consulting with the people or your superior is a good thing to do.
