Email: An email address such as Gmail is required.
Japanese carrier email addresses (e.g. “@docomo.ne.jp”) cannot be used.

MNP reservation number: Not required if you are getting a SIM card for the first time in Japan or issuing a new phone number.
Required if you want to keep your current phone number when switching.
