Manners on Queuing in Line

When a foreigner sees a Japanese people, they wonder, “Japanese like to wait in line.” The Japanese are a group of people with high patience and discipline to follow the rules. If there is a person who does not follow manners, they will get into trouble immediately, Thus, please do not interrupt the line. Be patient and wait for your turn. The same applies when you take a bus or train (shops, vending machines, etc.).

Queuing in a line can be very stressful. A small violation of manners makes others uncomfortable, and if it gets worse, it can lead to trouble.

Please be considerate when lining up so that everyone can feel comfortable.
