[Kaitenzushi] or conveyor belt sushi is a system where the sushi are served in small plates and rotated in front of customers on a conveyor belt-like counter. Then, the customers can freely pick up the plate of the sushi they want to eat.

 

  • How to order

There are 3 ways on how to order:

  1. Eat the sushi, which is placed on the conveyor belt counter in front of you.
  2. Place an order with the sushi chef or the floor staff at the counter.
  3. Place an order on the touch panel screen menu

In particular, there are times when your favorite sushi does not go around the conveyor belt, so let’s order directly from craftsmen and floor staff. Also, if you want to eat freshly sushi, you can order it in 2 ways. Some stores have multilingual touch panels with images that you can use to order.

 

  • How to eat

Kaitenzushi is a sushi restaurant that uses a conveyor belt system. Customers eat the newly made sushi of their choice and eat it with soy sauce. 

Eating sushi with ocha (tea) or gari (sliced ginger) will make it more delicious.

Recently, there are increasing number of kaitenzushi restaurants that serve not only fish, but also hamburg steak, yakiniku, meat sushi, tsukemono, and fruit juice. Finally, the number of plates according to price will be counted for the payment. Do not return the dishes.
