Denshi Mane (Electronic Money)

 

Denshi mane is a type of IC card where cash data is recorded. It can be used by charging it with money beforehand or to use it automatically when shopping. There are many types of electronic money. Typical brands include “Nanaco” that can be used in 7-Eleven countries and “WAON” that can be used in AEON.
Another type of denshi mane is when it is used to pay for transportation services such as “Suica”, which is provided by JR East. Other types such as “iD” and “QUICPay”, where mobile phones can be used as an IC card (Osaifu-Keitai).
